Principle – When we prove this idea through experiment and test it on the basis of rationality, then it becomes a Principle.

Ideology – and considering this principle as the focal point, when we add our own ideas to it and transform it into action or make a firm opinion on it, then it is called ideology.

As when Lenin added some of his inputs to the same Marxist theory and presented it to the people according to his own accord, it became a Leninist ideology.

However, remember that the first account of philosophy is found in the ancient Hindu Vedas, which were written between 1500 BCE (Rigveda) and around 1200–900 BCE (Yajurveda, Sama Veda, Atharvaveda). Before the composition of the Vedas, it was a practice to recite them orally from generation to generation.
